Alice Hatcher was born in Taiwan in a low-income family. Alice’s parents migrated to the U.S when she was only 1. Her mother worked as a nurse at night while her father went through engineering school. They owned a Chinese restaurant, a family business just below the one-bedroom apartment where Alice lived with her parents. Despite all these income streams, the family struggled to make ends meet.
Alice as a child, always encountered racial discrimination and bullying, being the only Chinese student in school. However, with time these challenges only made her stronger and more determined to achieve her goal. Alice discovered her love for beauty and skincare in her youth. She started working at retail stores of top beauty brands like Clinique, MAC, Estee Lauder, and Stilla, to name a few. To pursue her passion as a career, Alice underwent intensive aesthetic training under Dr. Zein Obagi after graduating with honors from the Paul Mitchell Skin Academy.
In 2006, just at the verge of the worldwide recession, Alice launched her medspa in Orange County, CA. During the economic downturn, she had to go through several hardships to keep her business afloat. Being new to the business and the prevalent economic scenario, Alice struggled to find clients. She would leave flyers on people's cars and sell gift cards at parking areas to lure customers to her spa. It took 5 years after launching the medspa to repay her debts and focus on a new venture.
She launched her e-commerce skincare stone beauty-addict.com when online shopping began gaining traction. Her store knocked off the highest sales during its first years, surpassing the revenue generated by her brick-and-mortar business. After 10 years as an entrepreneur, Alice finally attained financial stability with her e-commerce store. She leverages her years of experience and knowledge in beauty and skincare to launch her product line "Precision skin RX." Through these ventures, Alice now offers virtual consultation to people suggesting products to help them with their skin concerns.
Precision skin RX offers a whole range of beauty and healthcare products like supplements, collagen-based crème, serums, etc. Besides beauty products, Alice also advocated mental health to make people look beautiful and confident from the inside. To take this initiative further, Alice conducts dance and therapy sessions. Throughout her career, Alice has believed in hard work and maintaining a positive attitude to reach her goals. She overcame naysayers by staying true to her passion which gave her the confidence to win.
Now Alice wants to inspire others to feel confident about themselves. She knows that discovering true beauty can boost self-confidence in anyone. Alice is committed to spreading global positivity through her brand and offering consultation to help people regain their inner and outer beauty.
