Brie Nightwood is an American entrepreneur, content creator, and model from Las Vegas.
She began to exhibit her entrepreneurial skills during her early childhood, and at 5, managed an eBay account under her father’s supervision. At 12, she enrolled in a computer class to learn about coding and scripting and developed Mac apps with AppleScript to sell as a home security bundle. Brie’s computer skills started paying off and earned her around $10k by the end of the year, which was a fantastic achievement at her young age.
After 4 years in the Mac apps business, Brie shifted her focus to crafting and selling jewelry on sites like Poshmark and Depop. However, she shifted her focus yet again when she was offered the opportunity to start college while a junior in high school. Brie did not allow her education to dampen her entrepreneurial dreams. At 18, she had more free time and joined streaming platforms, where she earned extra cash by streaming herself playing video games.
Brie was lucky to have scholarships that covered her courses and living expenses, though she wanted to take extra courses to graduate early. The scholarship money only covered a certain amount of credits, and her streaming activities weren’t pulling in enough money yet.She took her future into her own hands and started her own website after attracting interest in a type of modeling work, and with the financial success that brought a relaxed Brie was able to graduate two years early in the forensic and neuropsychology fields.
In 2021 , Brie - always an ardent entrepreneur - took things to the next level. She founded Nightwood Media, which helps pair assistants to other online models, a specific sub-market in the industry with such high demand but low supply. “Currently, this division is on a break because I have focused more on the company’s upcoming NFT division,” Brie says.
Brie has extended her entrepreneurial dream in other fields to live a life of financial freedom at such a young age. She is in the flourishing real estate industry, working as a freelance broker in the field , “I’m aiming to launch an agency that caters explicitly to assist with the housing process for other digital creators and sex workers, since there is a lot of discrimination in the area,” Brie adds.
Brie asserts that as an digital creator in her realm, you can be multifaceted. “You can be the hottest girl on the planet and not make a dime because it’s all about correctly forming networking connections and marketing yourself. It can sometimes be much more physically and mentally demanding than your typical 9-5 job. Yet, many people who haven’t been behind the scenes are quick to judge simply because society has issues with women monetizing or even displaying sex appeal,” Brie concludes.
Brie hopes to diversify her entrepreneurial dreams and open more businesses to continue on her pathway to financial freedom.
