Diesel and Ducati Hit the Road

"It's the freedom of the open road and the confidence in yourself and your mission," declares Diesel's Stefano Rosso of motorcycle racing's appeal. He's here in Soho, NYC to unveil Diesel's recent collaboration with motorcycle maverick Ducati: the Diesel Monster 1100 EVO, along with a limited capsule fashion collection. The collection features Diesel's signature urban utility, with understated Diesel/Ducati detailing. The bike bites a little harder; featuring an all-black treatment for trellis, rims, engine covers, exhaust, and forks, with the front brake calipers featuring a splash of yellow, and the brand's Mohican logo engraved into the side. "The collaboration is true to both brands I feel," Rosso continues. "With Diesel, we have always said that when people wear it, they dream. Now the dream can meet the open road."

The event saw the attendance of numerous press and friends of the brand, who enjoyed Champagne, saddled the Ducati, and thumbed through the fashion. A small dinner followed and saw the attendance of Adrien Brody, Dax Shepard, Eric Balfour, Zach McGowan, Nicky Hayden, Alexandra Richards, and Nick Cohen, among others, before all disappeared into Manhattan to hit the dance floor well into dawn.
