DRINKING PROBLEMS: ION VODKA

The sun’s bright rays burn through my bedroom blinds, rudely shaking me awake as I pull the sheets over my head, attempting to shield myself from the evil light. I’m hungover. Again. My head is pounding to the residual bass of all that noise I was gleefully rain dancing to the night before: WUB WOMP BOWOWOWO CHHHHHH WUB WUB WOMP! Somebody…anybody…make it stop!

My hand peeks out through the sheets, blindly searching the top of my nightstand for my soon-to-be new best friend, Mr. Advil. After knocking over my alarm clock and a stack of books on the floor, I finally find my savior and grab him by the throat. I swallow two of those precious pills, sans water, and pray for quick relief.

As I lay beneath the covers, I try to piece together the night prior. It started out harmlessly - a few Cosmos with the girls, but I search in vain for where the night took a fearful turn…

What I’m certain of is that the evening was swimming with everything vodka - from shots of Grey Goose, to Chopin cocktails, and even the occasional questionable Jell-O shot. From my incapacitated reaction, I’m solemnly swearing to never drink (vodka) again.

Until Ion Vodka, the world’s first electrolyte enhanced vodka, descended from the heavens and into the vintage, crystal tumbler in my hand. I decide to give it one more go; the night beginning and ending the same way all other nights had: drinking, dancing, drinking, dancing, and more drinking.

Except instead of mixing every kind of booze imaginable like a resilient college student, I relied solely on Ion-infused cocktails to sustain my buzz. The special Ion formula kept my body completely hydrated throughout the night, and I woke up the next morning feeling unlike I ever had after an evening of excess drinking. I felt fresh, happy, and ready to start my day!

So, drink up, and cheers to many more nights of revelry and hangover-free mornings!
