Misericordia is the title of PRISM's new show which opened recently featuring a long list of astounding artists such as Marina Abramovic, Joseph Beuys, Monica Bonvicini, Louise Bourgeois, Lucio Fontana, and Terence Koh. Curated by Pace Gallery's Birte Kleemann, the show focuses on juxtaposing works by Masters of the Renaissance and those of contemporary artists, exploring the representation of quite formidable themes like human pain, penance, and mercy.  If it all sounds a little hard to swallow on a weekend night, the exhibition is running through December 4th, 2010, open to the public at normal PRISM hours, Tuesday-Thursday 10-6, Friday-Saturday 11-7.
