When H.P. Lovecraft’s grimoire Necronomicon curiously remarks, “That is not dead which can eternal lie. / And with strange aeons even death may die,” Lovecraft refers to evil, which possesses the immutability to outlive death.
This concept is also available for you to purchase and wear in the form of "Even Death Can Die." But perhaps you’re looking for a phrase that is slightly less… conclusive? Well, designers Obesity and Speed (indulge, my dears, and live very, very fast) offer others, including tees that read, “Stay Sick,” “Nothing Sacred,” “KiL,” and if you’re set on it, “Choose Death.” Perhaps these messages suggest that we should surrender to disillusionment, acknowledge our misotheistic, existential crises, and possibly have a good time while we’re at it? As you can probably tell, the collections speak to me, and the underlying message appears to be, “It’s ok to feel lost, allow the feeling, delight in the experience.”
The Obesity & Speed online store offers tees and cut-out tanks (for both men and women) picturing inverted crosses, fists, skulls, and pentagrams with the treasured Baphomet sigil. The S/S10 collection features shredded fabrics and jagged, dichromatic prints. I just got a sweet pair of shredded leggings from these folks. Conveniently, the goth and tribal-primitive styles are apparently still a major DO in the fashion kingdom.
