There's nothing quite like taking it to dawn with award winning chef Michael Voltaggio (who graciously lent us his restaurant ink.), but one must, foremost, have a belly full of, oh, perhaps blackberry gazpacho, or prime beef short rib, charcoal burnt and served with young fennel, or Mediterranean turbot, with a sauce of skin and bones, and served with seaweed mashed potatoes and truffle coulis. But Flaunt is fucking rad like that, we eat rad food with rad friends, and we're always going, you know, full speed ahead, or something ...
With what passion we arrange ourselves! Leighton Meester, sporting a new look, was fabulous and bubbly as hostess, shaking hands and kissing cheeks. The lovely ladies from Diesel Black Gold stayed well into the night, buoyed by the boutique Stetson Bourbon cocktails crafted for our dinner in particular (a Black Gold Sling, a Flaunt Bourbon Sazerac etc). Did you know that women never really faint? We had no idea either! Odeya Rush is ridiculously beautiful. And you know children never really blush? Oh boy! One couldn't turn around without falling in love. There was Hollywood stalwart, Walton Goggins, three buttons down, who made a brief but powerful appearance. We love you, Wally! Bad-boy heartthrob Bert Rodriquez tickled a fancy or two. Dita Von Teese and bestie Liz Goldwyn philosophized about integrity and power. Ambyr Childers looked amazing in the arms of her wonderful husband, Randall Emmett. And on and on it goes.
Stay fabulous, well dressed, well heeled and schooled. Till next time chums! Over and out and adieu!
