In what feels like the busiest market season EVER, it was my frazzled pleasure to attend the Steven Alan for Dockers preview at the Steven Alan store in Tribeca. The collection which fuses the best of Steven Alan's downtown classic wares, with Dockers heritage staples, and the end result is just what the doctor ordered (Ok, and by doctors, think more one the line of George Clooney in E.R. and less Dr. Kevorkian). There was a corduroy shirt, and a military blazer that caught my eye because of the simple details, but my favorite pieces from the collection were the Officer Khaki, and the Work Wear chino, both in which had great details, but the fit of these pants is the real star...slim but not skinny, and just the right type of taper! Trust me, I am a stickler for fit, my tailor can vouch (rather testify to me being annoying) for my serveral visits per month to him, but the pants seem to be ready for me off the rack.
