Kick out that tired image of a boat shoe worn in preppy idyll and instead envision a boat shoe worn by naval officers fighting against political oppression in a time of war. Nom de Guerre (Name of War translation) partners with Converse for their second collaboration, this time on the 1960s Converse Skid Grip CVO. Nom de Guerre's version introduces rubberized cotton to give it a spartan, refined minimalism. Available now at select retailers. Here's a video also that Nom de Guerre put out for their F/W collection, called "Countdown to Violence." And you didn't think fashion was serious, huh?
