After a less than enjoyable day – uncooperative hair, an untimely flat tire, and a chorus of unwanted cat calls – the only thing worth looking forward to was a very strong cocktail. The night begged for tequila. Just as the clock finally signaled the end of the workweek, I was out the door, heading down Sunset, to the launch of Carbon Audio’s “Zooka” speakers, sponsored, of course, by Luna Rosa Tequila.
I blundered through a haze of blinding paparazzi bulbs and sky-high stilettos, snaking my way through a crowd of thirsty guests that included Danny Guez, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Denise Richards, Kat Von D, Jerry Ferrara, and Katie Cassidy, as I beelined to the bar. A ginger margarita is placed in my grateful hand, and I tear my attention from my liquid savior to finally admire the rainbow of Zooka speakers adorning the wall.
Boasting uncompromising style, the Zooka offers wireless Bluetooth capabilities, for an even more revolutionary product design. “We want all of our Carbon Audio products to not just beat the competition, but redefine the category,” said co-creator and Carbon Audio partner Jason Martin. “With Zooka, we’ve done just that. Not only is it a sleek, sexy, strong, sophisticated design with killer sound, but its feature set is unlike anything else on the market.”
Who says liquids and electronics don’t mix?
