Gucci presented the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s 11th annual Art + Film Gala on November 5. The gala was co-chaired by Eva Chow, LACMA trustee, and actor Leonardo DiCaprio, and the night commemorated the work of artist Helen Pashgian and filmmaker Park Chan-wook. A performance by Elton John and a DJ set by D-Nice capped off the gala portion of the night. Many of the guests wore Gucci, including Andrew Garfield, Idris Elba, Jared Leto, Billie Eilish, FINNEAS, Jesse Rutherford, Salma Hayek, and more. Other attendees included the likes of Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Kendall Jenner, Sydney Sweeney, and Quinta Brunson. The event drew on the night’s partners—from the rich purple color palette synonymous with Gucci to the light projections inspired by Pashgian’s Light & Space art movement. The gala proceeds go toward LACMA’s efforts to bring film into the curatorial world, and to fund all the programming and exhibitions LACMA offers.
