Hailing from Vermont, the group, consisting of 7 talented individuals Sam Paulino, Hank “HANKNATIVE” Collins, Aidan Ostby, Connor “Swank” Stankevich, Caleb “Somba” Hoh, Julian “Juju” Segar-Reid, and Jared Fiercan, can write, sing, rap, produce, play instruments, take photos, and edit videos. Hailing from all walks of life—Black, White, Latinx, Asian, and one gender non-binary member—99 Neighbors is the future, in all aspects of their artistry.  First discovered by Pat Corcoran, who went on to sign them to his Nice Work imprint, 99 Neighbors returns to release their newest single titled “49er,” with a cinematic visual to match. The visual pays homage to their hometown roots in Vermont, unlike any other music video you see in the rap game as of late. The deep and reflective record is far from traditional, holding fans over until the release of their forthcoming album titled [_Wherever You’re Going I Hope It’s Great on Nice Work_](https://pre-save.lnk.to/49er)_,_ arriving sometime this year. Speaking on the record, 99 Neighbors state,”’49er’ narratively centers around reckoning with our relationships to home and feelings of lost familiarity. We’ve had to give up a lot to be here, and this song was a way to air out the emotions that have come with the sacrifices we’ve made. We’re really excited for people to hear it.” “49er” begins with all 7 members riding their bikes in formation across a bridge, before reaching their destination: a field in Vermont. Soon, nature and all its beauty takes hold, as the group brings their record to life in true 99 Neighbors form.
