The Detroit native serves a gem in the industry, who’s working her ass off to become a household name. With her mom as a singer herself, the Trinidanian singer-songwriter came up in the studio, a creative environment she sees as second nature.
Now following the release of the sexy music video for “Thug Love,” which featured Atlanta rapper Trouble, Aaria returns with the full-length version — this time reeling in the one and only Dreamdoll. The irony lies in the fact that many people have told Aaria she looks like Dreamdoll, so it was only right the two baddies connected on the song.
Speaking on the collaboration with Dreamdoll, Aaria states, "I felt Dreamdoll would make a perfect fit for the song and her egotism brought big empowering vibes to the song. When I released the snippet of the song, everyone was asking for the full version and my team, No Rules Entertainment, had surprised me with the DreamDoll verse.”
When it comes to her music, Aaria hopes to inspire the masses and give them the confidence they need to succeed in life in general. The acronym for Thug stands for: trustworthy, humorous, understanding, and genuine. If you’re missing any of those traits, don’t even bother!
