Alexander McQueen launches their new Holiday Gifting campaign in the form of a film commissioned by British filmmaker and animator, Isabel Garrett.
Isabel used her skills as an animator to develop a fantasy world in which the brand’s newest collection is brought to life. Using stop-motion animation, Isabel’s specialty, the pieces are featured throughout fantastical scenes of a dimly lit forest, incorporating both man-made and natural components to further evoke the mysticism. With visuals straight out of a Tim Burton film, such as spiders crawling up a web of jewelry, the campaign film captures the look of the Halloween season shifting into the Holidays.
Isabel is a resident artist at The Sarabande Foundation, which was established by Lee Alexander McQueen to inspire and support creatives in their artistic endeavors.
