The super-producer has quietly been building a curated catalog of the freshest beats, demos, loops and sound packs for his soon-to-launch Beatclub, a music marketplace and creator club that is invite-only in beta right now. For the first time ever, A-list producers like Mike WiLL Made-It, Mike Dean, Dallas Austin, Scott Storch and Timbaland himself will be selling their beats online through this platform when it launches this summer.  “Beatclub wants to make it easy for you to make your own music,” says Timbaland. “We’re going to be the creative hub of the music industry.” In the meantime, Tim’s wasting no time getting other music makers excited about being part of his Beatclub. The company has collaborated with Native Instruments on a custom, ultra limited-edition midi keyboard that drops today—the Beatclub Komplete Kontrol M32 midi controller, complete with Tim’s own molten blue color design.  He states, “Native Instruments keyboards have been an important part of my creative process and I wanted to share a special edition of one of my favorites with Beatclub VIPs.” Only 150 of the Beatclub keyboards have been manufactured and they are not for sale anywhere. They’ve been doled out to a select group of Beatclub members like Powers Pleasant, Rance (1500 or Nothin’), Take a Daytrip, PERFXN, and Tainy, who got theirs already. However, it’s still possible to get your hands on one, while also contributing to a worthy cause. Beatclub has teamed up with StockX for an exclusive charity auction benefiting Girls Make Beats, a non-profit that supports young women aspiring to become music producers, DJs, and audio engineers.  The StockX auction goes live on Tuesday, May 4 and runs until May 7. “Beatclub wants to support more women in the creative space and Girls Make Beats is playing an important role as a creative support center for girls considering a career in music production,” says Timbaland.
