[Bhad Bhabie](https://www.instagram.com/bhadbhabie/?hl=en) seamlessly returns to the music scene with sizzling visuals for her lead single "Miss Understood." Directed by Tiny Tapes and Orazio and filmed in Los Angeles, the high-energy song will be featured on her forthcoming EP.
This time, the 18-year old rapper is releasing on her own label BHAD Music. Having autonomy over her music career and owning her masters is a major milestone for the young starlet. She states, “Kanye brought a lot of attention last year to artists owning their masters. I feel lucky to be 18 and now I get to own mine going forward. I have my own platform to get my music out to my fans."
“Miss Understood” serves as an intro for Bhabie’s new project, but also a re-introduction to her as a newly independent artist. She explains, “I’ve grown up a lot in the past year and know what I want my sound to be like now and this is a little taste. It really sums up my story as well. We cut this in LA a couple of months ago, Go Grizzly produced it and I wrote it with [London Jae](https://flaunt.com/content/london-jae-a-hitmaker-with-his-own-line-of-jeans)."
For those who don't know, London Jae is a multi-Platinum Grammy-winning Songwriter, writing for everyone from Beyonce to Rihanna to Cardi B.
The song's hook goes: "They say I'm trouble, but maybe I'm just misunderstood." This seems appropriate for the star who sometimes finds herself in hot water for being so outspoken. This round, Bhad Bhabie has channeled all her passionate energy into creating a new more mature sound, while continuing to carve out her own niche in the hip-hop world. “I’m finally ready to put out music I want on my own terms.”
With her increasing catalog of chart-busting hits, social media triumphs, and seemingly non-stop artistic growth, Bhad Bhabie is unquestionably one of today’s most successful new superstars. She has catapulted herself from a meme to a globally recognized influencer and artist boasting over 1.5 billion global streams. She seamlessly moves between worlds of social justice and sexy, with a massive OnlyFans account, and also made headlines this year speaking out against Turn About Ranch and the "troubled teen industry."
Having previously collaborated with heavyweights Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Yachty, City Girls and Lil Baby, and more. With this new project, she hopes her listeners can finally get a feel for who she is as a woman, artist, and human being. Whether she's talking about relationships, finances, breakups, or the glow-up, Bhad Bhabie is letting her ingenuity manifest itself. It's the way she speaks, dresses, and creates.
