BVLGARI hosted the third installment of the “Innovating the Present for a Sustainable Future,” spotlighting the Italian luxury brand’s commitment to social welfare. The talk concentrated on three main conversation points: Bvlgari Virus Free Fund & The Rockefeller University Partnership for COVID-19 research funding, Save the Children arts education for the youth, and Bvlgari Patrimoney, the preservation of historic arts.
BVLGARI’s unwavering commitment to public health is evident in its creation of the “BVLGARI Virus Free Fund,” a funding program to support female graduate students and postdoctoral fellows working on clinical testing and treatments to diminish the devastating effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

The second pillar of the webinar focused on BVLGARI raising almost $100 million for marginalized children, featuring “Arte di BVLGARI,” an afterschool arts program in California that will allow children to explore creativity in varying art forms, encouraging exploration and imagination under the supervision of local artists. This program has adapted remotely in the dissemination of art kits to children’s homes with accompanying virtual art lessons.

BVLGARI’s final emphasis centered on preserving the aesthetics of ancient art, a source of ongoing inspiration for the brand. BVLGARI is the primary sponsor for the conservation of 90 ancient Greek and Roman statues in the Torlonia Collection, the world’s most important private collection of ancient art. The restored statues will be unveiled to the public through a traveling exhibition, titled “The Torlonia Marbles. Collecting Master-pieces.” The exhibit will open in October at Villa Caffarelli, part of the Capitoline Museums complex. Developed through a partnership between the Italian Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism and the Torlonia Foundation, the exhibition will feature a staging conceived by David Chipperfield Architects Milano.
