The money raised will be donated to [The Los Angeles Community Action Network](https://cangress.org) which is an organization that creates opportunities for people in poverty and ensures that they have the power to be involved in decisions that will affect them.  The British contemporary artist recently had his first solo show in the US at Tower Records titled “[CXLA](https://tell.tv/products/chemical-x-chemical-catalyst?variant=31371395104817)” featuring a special performance from DJ Fatboy Slim. Throughout his career as an artist, he has had some notaries such as collaborating on art projects with Damien Hirst and Banksy, as well as having model Cara Delevingne modelling his piece, The Spirit of Ecstasy. Through his artwork, Chemical X ideally wants the audience to have the opportunity to view themselves through a newfound perspective by creating pieces that are reflective of society through his own eyes. My artistic response was Skid Rodeo Drive - an installation of 12 tents dressed in the luxury brands of Rodeo Drive and installed in the heart of Skid Row. It was a powerful piece that I’m building into an international artwork to share with the world. I couldn’t have done any of it without the support of the staff and volunteers of LA CAN.  When I came to have my CXLA show at Tower Records, I wanted to try and give something back to them, so I worked with my friends at TELL.tv to create a limited-edition range of apparel and to donate the profits from all sales to the guys at LA CAN. We can all make a change. Please support me in supporting the people who make that change possible every single day.”  Photo courtesy ![Photo courtesy](https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/56c346b607eaa09d9189a870/1575567829324-CB1VWRBY6O4MILYE76C6/cx_001bFLAUNT.jpg) Photo courtesy Tell TV is an emerging media platform that puts its focus on inspiring people who put hope back into humanity. Their aim is to demonstrate how one person’s story has the ability to affect others in a significant way. As well, they hope to connect similar people, encourage motivation in order to achieve real change, and to open outlooks. With a mission to empower, support, and aid people in poverty, Tell TV has major goals in social change that ultimately eradicate barriers, power, and violence that prevents certain groups to prosper.  Pete White, the founding executive director at LA CAN said, “Chemical X reminds us that art has no address and should be used to draw attention and action to a man-made crisis.” Photo courtesy ![Photo courtesy](https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/56c346b607eaa09d9189a870/1575567893547-J9XEXAAM1NAEUJCHCB6X/cx_002aFLAUNT.jpg) Photo courtesy T-shirts are $30 each with $10 from every shirt sold being donated to LA CAN Hoodies are $60 with $20 from every hoodie sold being donated to LA CAN Sizes range from S-XXL The CXLA limited edition items drop on December 5th at 3pm PST and ends on December 15th.
