He is the CEO and President of A&W Contracting, a construction company in the US. He also serves as the chairman of Hands Across Atlanta, a nonprofit organization that has positively impacted the lives of underprivileged children and veterans in the Atlanta area. A long-time entrepreneur, Devin’s leadership has helped A&W Contracting see consistent success. Though the country is still feeling the effects of the pandemic, A&W Contracting aspires to continues doing well, maintaining an edge over its competitors. Devin has always been passionate about helping others, and working with Hands Across Atlanta gave him a great opportunity to do so. He holds the organization very dear to his heart and dedicates much of his time and efforts to its betterment. Through a program dubbed Jackets in July, Hands Across Atlanta has collected and distributed over 2,000 winter jackets to underprivileged children and veterans. If you’re interested in donating to the cause or helping the organization out directly, you can do so by contacting them via the Hands Across Atlanta website. Devin was also at the center of another successful program that supplied hot meals to frontline healthcare workers during the earlier months of the COVID-19 pandemic. They raised donations for this cause, and the individuals served by this program included doctors, nurses, firefighters, and others actively involved in the fight against COVID-19 in Atlanta. Devin was also responsible for spearheading the Champions for Change Golf Tournament. The tournament was part of Hands Across Atlanta’s idea to generate awareness of their cause and hopefully impact even more lives. The tournament was hosted by the Bear’s Best golf club in Atlanta and was largely successful in attracting sponsors and golfers from all over the US to take part. In the first year of the tournament, Hands Across Atlanta sold all the holes to sponsors and hosted over 120 golfers. The event’s success was a major boost for the organization in terms of the awareness it generated. As Devin says, “We absolutely knocked that event out of the park. Our team executed it beautifully. Everyone had the time of their lives out there on the course.” This gave Hands Across Atlanta the financial stability they needed to push through their upcoming projects. It also helped generate publicity for their upcoming project, where they are seeking to donate an entire computer lab equipped with modern computer models and all the necessary software to the Atlanta community. Devin believes that the facility will be of great help to the community, as it will give children the means to connect with others in their community and hopefully give them access to resources they can use to educate themselves and improve their lives. In the meantime, Devin is focused on leading Hands Across Atlanta to continue transforming as many lives as possible.
