Insert Elan Atias, previous lead singer of The Wailers, who’s here to touch the masses with his smooth and sultry voice. Born and raised in Los Angeles, the singer-songwriter began singing at a very young age, inspired by the likes of Bob Marley, James Brown, Led Zeppelin, and Fela Kuti. Now he returns to release his most impactful song to date titled “You Are Not Alone,” premiered today exclusively on Flaunt. The record itself was inspired by the homeless epidemic and mental health crisis that has plagued Los Angeles for the past two decades. Additionally, Atias was moved to write the record inspired by a friend who was suffering from the aftermath of a break-up. "You Are Not Alone" is a gentle and uplifting call of solidarity to anyone experiencing isolation, loneliness, or despair. The song was produced by Redah and co-written by Elan Atias, Dylan Dunlap, Willy D. Abers and Justin Poree (Ozomatli).  Speaking on the record, Atias states, “The important thing about this song is that it can have many different meanings and everyone can relate to it in their own way. Quarantine, having COVID, being alone in the hospital, facing homelessness and alone on the street, a teenage girl who gets her heart broken for the first time, a guy who thinks he has lost everything and contemplating suicide....know you are not alone." “You Are Not Alone” serves as the first single of his forthcoming EP, slated to be released in 2022.
