Fortunately for cannabis brand [Foxy](https://www.foxyusa.com/), they have the advantage of an East Coast experience and sensibility. Founders Ryan Littman and Nico Dios were born and raised in New York City, bringing their experience of culture and commerce to life through their many collaborations with brands including Supreme, Alife, and the Tribeca Film Festival. Foxy provides high quality products, celebrating cannabis culture and believing it to be an intrinsic element of human experience, socially and creatively. Their products include premium indoor flower in eighths and pre-roll packs as well as vaporizer cartridges and are available throughout California. _Flaunt_ caught up with Foxy to chat about getting started and where Foxy’s going. We learned a lot, having been respectively involved since the late 90’s in one way or another, both as consumers, helping with nascent cultivations and eventually in the more well developed manufacturing environment. Having seen the market trajectory and experienced many of the ups and downs, we couldn’t turn down the opportunity to create a brand of our own, bolstered by our many years of experience. Foxy represented a chance for us to do things our way.  **Foxy is such a great name and I love the logo. What inspired both?**  The name came to us in early development stages and we liked that it resonated with many people, whether they were regular cannabis users or not.  The logo felt approachable yet slick….like a fox. **What makes Foxy unique?**  Rather than solely focus on what makes cannabis interesting, we considered what makes a brand interesting overall.  We draw from our experiences in art and film, as well as our community’s interests, in order to produce exciting and thoughtful projects. We recently released a documentary, and film will continue to be a big part of who Foxy is.  Flaunt\_Foxy-1.jpg ![Flaunt_Foxy-1.jpg](https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/56c346b607eaa09d9189a870/1617050001981-ITLWKMKNLSYCK7HQ72LU/Flaunt_Foxy-1.jpg) **What's your personal favorite product in the line right now?**  "The Pope’s Pie" is our favorite product at the moment.   It’s a high-potency premium indoor flower named in honor of Mickey Cesar, “the Pope of Dope,” who created the first delivery service in New York.  The flower is incredible and we produced our first documentary “The Pope of Dope” to coincide with the launch, bridging media and cannabis. Giving homage to individuals who paved the way for the cannabis industry is important to us. What would you recommend for lockdown feelings? And in a few months, hopefully we'll be having parties again. What would you recommend for post lockdown?  For lockdown, you can’t go wrong smoking our collaboration with “Golden State Banana, the “Dolce & Banana”. It’s got a sweet terpene profile that you need to experience to fully understand. It’ll definitely help cure whatever ails you.  Our latest strain “Caviar” would be our recommendation post lockdown. It’s got a gassy nose and reminds us of our youth in NY. It’s super potent and a great smoke, and will be a staple of ours for a long time to come.  **What's next for Foxy?**  We recently created a limited-edition t-shirt with our friend @bowerybob to benefit Watts Community Core (WCC).  Our colleague Zyanna has been volunteering with WCC several times a week and it was important for us to give back to our community anyway we can.  The shirt retails for $28 on our site and 100% percent of proceeds from the sale of the shirt will be donated to Watts Community Core.   Also, in collaboration with Re-Stash & Eaze, we are launching a limited-edition Foxy Re-Stash Jar with 1/2 oz of premium Caviar cannabis flower. This is the first time a cannabis brand has used a restash jar as packaging (in California) and we are extremely excited about it. **What are you looking forward to this year?**  We are in producing numerous film and art projects. Leaning into storytelling and creating art with our friends is what we are most passionate about.
