In a small Italian town near the Garda lake, [HÅN](https://www.instagram.com/hanmusic.jpg/) started to craft her unique songwriting style: a combination of experimental, dreamy productions always accompanied with pop-driven, smart melodies.
With her debut EP _The Children_, she immediately achieved the status of a “one to watch”. Her sophomore EP _Gradients_ confirmed her as one of the most promising stars of the underground-pop firmament, thanks to her innate ability to combine an unconventional sound with timeless pop moments.
Now based in London and with millions of streams on her back, [HÅN](https://www.instagram.com/hanmusic.jpg/) is ready for the most important chapter of her young career: the release of her highly anticipated, yet-untitled album.
The second single off of it is titled “Bicycle,” a collaborative single written together with rising West London songwriter/producer KiLLOWEN. The song sees HÅN blending her signature sound with a Z Gen aesthetic, made of lo-fi vibes, R&B tinged beats, and hazy textures.
Speaking about the song, she states, "This was the first song I wrote when I moved to London last year. I met Owen (who features on the song) in October and we got along right away. At the time, I was struggling with just functioning and adapting to the new city, so I used to spend a lot of time visiting art galleries to distract myself. I started to learn about my mental health, noticing that sometimes I coped with my emotions in a very intense way. This made me feel estranged, but also in awe of those around me who managed to deal with things in a healthy and easy way.”
She continues, “I didn’t understand why the things that bothered me were leaving other people unmoved. ‘Bicycle’ is saying ‘oh, so that’s how it is supposed to be. I hope to learn from you’ The ending of the song is both an outburst and a relief from this feeling, a heavy bass kicks in and I scream in my very own way (which is quiet) about memories that make me feel safe and that shelter me from that state of mind."
