The Fredericksburg, VA native invites full-scale sensory immersion with his forthcoming self-titled, full length debut album, _JANNEY_ _._ Ultimately, he finds an elusive sweet spot between nostalgic synth pop and hooky lyrical narratives.   Prior to music, JANNEY studied fashion design in a postgraduate program at Parsons School of Design in NYC. His past experience with fashion and design play into his artistic persona, and music has allowed for him to incorporate all facets of his creative passions into one singular vision. Most recently, he released the official music video for “hollow.” The song will be on streaming platforms March 5th. Speaking on the project, JANNEY states, “For me, it’s been really exciting to see something I‘ve been working on for so long come to fruition. I’ve always had a passion for music and being able to create this album despite some of the obstacles presented by the pandemic has been both a feat and a challenge to overcome. It’s been so rewarding to see all of the different components of the process come together, and I couldn’t be happier with where the album ended up! I’m excited to release it to the world, and for people to get a chance to connect to the lyrics and narratives on the tracks! There’s a lot of “groove factor” on this album and after the year that everyone has had, hopefully this album can serve as a nice escape for the listener!”   To date, JANNEY has released 3 singles that were each accompanied by a music video, directed by Hunter Airheart. The videos have amassed nearly one million views in total on YouTube.  JANNEY is slated to release his fifth single on March 19th, leading up to the album release on April 2, 2021. The album consists of 11 tracks, all of which were recorded and produced during the COVID-19 pandemic.
