If you have yet to hear of [JVNA](https://www.instagram.com/jvna/), prepare to fall in love. Based in Los Angeles, the singer, songwriter, producer, and recording artist is best known for her honest and vulnerable lyrics, creating her own version of feel-good pop and electronic music to touch the masses all over the world. Raised in California by Taiwanese parents, JVNA studied classical piano at the young age of 6, going on to write her own songs 5 years later.
Now, JVNA returns with her highly-anticipated debut album titled _Hope In Chaos_, a powerful title that speaks for itself. Boasting 12 tracks, the project showcases JVNA’s diverse musical talents, using her voice as a musical instrument and going above and beyond your normal dance floor love songs. It’s recommended to listen to _Hope In Chaos_ from top to bottom, as it chronicles the stages of grief inspired by her own father’s passing.
Speaking on the project, JVNA states, “_Hope in Chaos_ visually is inspired by the Greek myth of Pandora’s box. In the tale, Pandora opens a forbidden box which unleashes chaos into the world. The one thing left being Hope. I chose this for inspiration to write about a time where I was going through a very anxious and chaotic period in life. Writing this album was a way for me to process everything happening.”
_Hope in Chaos_ is about JVNA’s journey of overcoming grief and following the light. She hopes that when fans listen to this album, they’ll be reminded that in times of chaos, there’s always hope to carry you out of the darkness.
