Presented in collaboration with the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, Lee Krasner’s collage paintings represent some of the artist’s most conceptual and emotionally charged works. Lee Krasner’s collage paintings are made of elements of previously destroyed painting, drawing, and collage. Using discarded elements of her own works, as well as those of her husband, Jackson Pollock, the result is one of the artist's most novel bodies of work, further highlighting Krasner as a pioneer of the Abstract Expressionist movement in America.
