“I’ve been going to a lot of weddings and it’s like DJ’s are playing the exact same song,” Adams says in an exclusive interview with Flaunt. “It’s a space that music isn’t done right at.”

[Les Filles Wedding](https://www.lesfilles.cc) is an emerging company hoping to eliminate the mundanity polluting the dance floor at most wedding receptions. Their loaded talent roster includes an array of female DJ’s who work closely with the soon-to-be married clients in order to curate the perfect playlist which will match the ceremony’s vibe and energy. As for picking the right female for the job, Adams says it’s an organic process.
“We’ve immersed ourselves in the community now.,’ Adams says. “I’m doing my due diligence on them like ‘do they know their music?’ and ‘will they show up and perform?’ It’s not someone who wants to do this for the wrong reasons, they have to do it for the musical experience.”
Les Filles believes in the power of music, an aspect which shouldn’t be overlooked during the most important day of a couple’s lives. By organizing meetinngs with the DJs and clients months in advance of the big day, they stress how the perfect playlist can lift the ceremony and reception’s mood and energy.

“It’s like people understanding that music can be something that balances the energy and hearts of the experience you can have in your life. It’s so malaligned and overlooked in any situation. I think the main thing is people understanding that and applying it to the most amazing day of their lives.”
[Les Filles Wedding](https://www.lesfilles.cc) is predominantly based in Los Angeles and New York, but also have worked in Austin, Miami, Denver, and London. They’re hoping to expand their services in the upcoming months.
