Luxury brand [LOEWE](https://www.loewe.com), in collaboration with [Gayletter](https://gayletter.com), celebrated the release of German artist Florian Krewer’s latest book at the Miami South Beach institution, Twist, with music performances by DJ Kindness and DJ Pascal Moscheni. Notable guests included names like LOEWE Creative Director Jonathan Anderson, Florian Krewer, Duckwrth, Jordan Barrett, Candice Swanepoel, Meadow Walker, Chloe Wise, and more.
The book presents different pieces by the artist, including paintings, drawings and even some rare photographs of the New York-based painter. The book operates in the perfect realm between structured a freeform, providing an autobiographical perspective on the artist while also subverting narrative. Florian Krewer’s work has established him as one of the most talked-about contemporary artists in the new generation. With a vibrant color palette, as well as free and energetic subjects and form, the artist explores desirability, sensuality, and conflict within public spaces, notably cities.
Florian’s work inspired LOEWE’s latest Spring Summer 2022 Men’s Collection. First presented in June, the book was released concurrently with the collection and includes a foreword by LOEWE Creative Director Jonathan Anderson and an introduction by art critic Stanton Taylor. Florian’s book will be available in select LOEWE stores.
