Queer Chicanx artist [Marcel Alcalá](https://www.instagram.com/marcel_alcala/) of TOM House presents his new exhibit _Putas Unidas._ The exhibition opens February 22nd and features a reception from 6:00PM-9:00PM. The works will be on sale. The exhibit is being presented by the [Tom of Finland Foundation](https://www.instagram.com/tomoffinlandfoundation/?hl=ur). When asked about the exhibit Alcalá said: “In "Putas Unidas", my time here in residence, I focused on new mediums, portraiture, and writing about Queer sisterhood. Oils, gouache, and ink, a focus in painting. Editing my screenplay and outlining a future play.”

The show follows curator [Brooke Wise](https://www.instagram.com/wisebrooke/?hl=en)’s, art benefit and exhibition _I Won't Bite_ for Tom of Finland Foundation at Neuehouse during Frieze Los Angeles. The exhibit featured works by Simon Haas, Raymond Pettibon, Gus Van Sant, Austyn Weiner, Chloe Wise and more.
