[pineappleCITI](https://www.instagram.com/theyloveciti/) proves she’s a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. The New Jersey recording artist is as versatile as they get: singing, songwriting, and rapping. Since the age of 6, CITI has had aspirations of becoming a musical superstar — but a serious car crash would leave her questioning reality.
Thankfully, she was able to recover and bounce back with a smile on her face. Through her music, she’s able to convey that anybody can also overcome the battles life throws at you. The trials and tribulations only make you stronger, as she blesses fans with nothing short of sonically-pleasing records. Her sound is a blend of the old school and new school, providing tunes for audiences of all ages all across the world.

Now, pineappleCITI inks a new deal with Red Bull Records, debuting a new single titled “Believe” at the beginning of this year. Now, she releases a brand new music video to match, recording it directly from her iPhone thanks to the mandated lockdown due to COVID-19.
“Believe” was inspired by everything PineappleCITI has been through to get to this moment. Regardless of the ups or the downs, the one thing that never faltered was believe in herself. She states, “I wanted to put that out into the atmosphere through this song and hopefully encourage others to feel the same way about themselves. No matter what happens or what opinion anybody has about you, your power is in believing you’re here for a reason. The only limitations that exist are the ones we put on ourselves.”

She also describes her current residence in Jersey during this pandemic as “surreal.” “I know some people personally who have died from the virus so no question certain things came to a halt,” she explains.” We have the second highest amount of Covid cases in the nation, but that doesn’t mean I have to stop working on my craft.”
PineappleCITI shot the “Believe” visual around her neighborhood on her smartphone with her editor. Watch above!
