Hailing from Orange County, the rising star injects nothing short of pure truth and emotion into each of her songs, with a strong pen game that’s lent its talents to the likes of Demi Lovato and Zara Larsson, to Halsey’s #1 hit “Without You,” and Bieber’s newest “Unstable.” Now, the spotlights on her as she releases “Drama Queen,” premiering today exclusively on _Flaunt_. Serving as just one of the critically-acclaimed records from her forthcoming album, “Drama Queen” is paired with a Harper-Smith-directed music video shot in the heart of Texas. Delacey is seen embodying the spirit of a lonely country singer, bringing the record to life in a fit styled by Linsay Grosswendt, with vintage looks pulled from @Tata\_\_LA and @AlbrightFashionLibraryLA @albrightfashionlibrary. Speaking on the single, Delacey states, “‘Drama Queen’ was exactly my name in my grandma’s contacts up until her dying day. This song spilled out of me after I picked a fight with my significant other, caused a scene in a public park and walked all the way home just for the dramatics of it. A lot of people close to me will attest to my flair for the dramatics. This was my way of expressing ‘sorry’ and also ‘you love me.’ I’ll never change.!” Photographer and video director Harper Smith states, “Delacey is the kind of artist that you fall more in love with each listen of a particular song. For me, ’Drama Queen’ was on repeat and each time, I felt I experienced something new or picked up on a nuance I hadn’t noticed before. It’s been an honor to collaborate creatively with someone who not only has the ability to write beautiful music, but also brings it to life with her beauty and vocal performance.” Watch “Drama Queen” above and remember, we all go through it!
