If you’re not familiar with Fab The Duo, prepare to fall in love. Based in Los Angeles, the alternative pop duo has one mission: to smash societal norms through music and love. Comprised of New York natives Greg Driscoll and Brendan Eprile, who make for a glamorous boyfriend pair, the couple quickly gained notoriety in New York City’s nightlife and music scene, and was deemed “a group that shouldn’t be overlooked.”
Now, they return with their newest release titled “Good Distraction,” premiering today exclusively on _Flaunt_. Written in the middle of the pandemic, the single came into fruition in the midst of bad news and nothing to look forward to. Along with the rest of the world, Fab The Duo were sick and tired of being sick and tired, and wanted to make a bop to uplift the masses and spread joy.
Speaking on the music video, Fab The Duo state, “‘Good Distraction’ represents a new era of our music, both in terms of sound and look. It’s the first single to come out since our move to LA and we wanted a video to reflect our new California lifestyle. We filled the video with all the Hollywood cliches we could think of: a joy ride in a ‘66 Mustang convertible, partying in the Joshua Tree, palm trees galore, and fashion that’s both trendy and laidback.”
If there’s one thing they want their fans (or Fabbits) to take away, it’s be you, be proud, and be loud!
