The single comes on the heels of his latest offering “Love Lost” which has been garnering rave reviews. The track was produced by South African duo Noble (Bubele Booi & David Balshaw), who recently produced for Beyoncé on her Grammy Award-winning album _The Lion King: The Gift._ “Panther” sees Langa delivering on a smooth and soulful R&B offering with lush sensibilities and an expansive musical landscape, lending itself to that perfect late summer evening ride. The track is driven by Langa's amazing vocals and exquisite falsetto tones, highlighting his dexterity for captivating storytelling and vivid songwriting. Speaking on the inspiration behind “Panther,” Langa says, "This song’s about being riddled with regret while seeking new love in an environment that some wouldn’t imagine love exists: the club. Inspired by a car ride home at 5am after a night of seeking love in the club, but failing to find it in the bottle or with a human. It expresses the feeling of exhaustion with acting like I was in a better place.” The chorus clearly details the truth, that heartache was still there and even the champagne bottles couldn’t fill it up. For his forthcoming debut, _LANGA_ is a story told in 3 parts: heartbreak, confusions, and resolution. “Panther” sees Langa reflecting on a journey through heartbreak, while having to grow up. The 4 songs in each part capture the essence of that time in his healing and growth. The project is truly about looking inward and being honest about the journey.  He concludes, “The [album](https://platoon.lnk.to/panther) is my heart on a page.”
