Hailing from New York, the recording artist creates his own unique blend of contemporary R&B and hip-hop, exuding positive energy and feel-good vibes with each release. Now, he returns to unleash his newest song and visual titled “Wrinkled Sheets,” premiered today exclusively on _Flaunt_.
Directed by Gilbert Trejo, the “Wrinkled Sheets” visual serves as the third video in the trilogy, following Mars’ two previous releases “Pro Bad Decision Maker” and “Slow Dance.” The song itself is a romantic ballad, equipped with his own confessions about life struggles and how love plays its part. The visual sees two beautiful black women trapped underneath white sheets, as they eventually come together and unite in bed—metaphorical to a lost relationship that’s now found.
Speaking on the release, Skizzy states, “I’m excited to drop ‘Wrinkled Sheets’, the third part of a trilogy of videos directed by Gilbert Trejo. This trilogy depicts the ups and downs of a new relationship. These visuals help bring these songs to life and I'm excited to share.”
