In 1842, Peter Carl [Fabergé](https://www.faberge.com/) founded a heritage house with timeless jewelry and objet d'art. Well known for his contribution to the Easter Egg tradition, Fabergé's fascinating history starts with the Imperial crown. Today, the house honors the Imperial Fabergé eggs with a fine jewelry collection of egg pendants. **_Flaunt_** spoke with great-granddaughter, Sarah Fabergé, who reflects on the [heritage collection](https://www.faberge.com/collections/heritage) and its hidden surprises. It paved the way for the Imperial Egg commissions that followed. Who knows, without this egg things may have been very different. We continue to be inspired by the creativity and fine craftsmanship of Peter Carl Fabergé and his workmasters, and they are never far from our minds. **_As each egg pendant reveals a surprise, which miniature treasure holds the most significance to you? Why?_** It is very hard to choose a favorite but right now I do love the Palais Tsarskoye Selo Teal Locket containing the snowflake surprise. It reminds me of Russia and in particular St Petersburg where the Fabergé story began. My first visit to this beautiful city was with my late father, Theo, when I was a girl and so this is a sentimental choice. Good health is everything. A game of scrabble, maybe with a glass of wine. Catching up with family and friends via social media, a film and the opportunity to finish reading a book that has been by my bedside for way too long now! * * *
