[Sow & Tailor](https://www.sowandtailor.com) has announced a new gallery exhibition, _You Lead Follow Me_, which features seven female Los Angeles-based artists. The exhibition showcases recent works of [Anja Salonen](https://www.instagram.com/anjasalonen/), [Becca Mann](https://www.instagram.com/beccaevamann/), [Gwen Hollingsworth](https://www.instagram.com/gwenhollingsworth/), [Jessica Williams](https://www.instagram.com/jessica___williams/), [Mia Scarpa](https://www.instagram.com/mia12345678910417/), [Olive Diamond](https://www.instagram.com/oliveediamond/), and [Veronica Fernandez](https://www.instagram.com/ron.nie55/?hl=en). _You Lead Follow Me_ will be on display November 21 through December 29, 2021.

The artworks in _You Lead Follow Me_ display the liminal space between storytelling and memory to materialize intangible narratives, from Olive Diamond’s ceramic panel paintings to Anja Salonen’s visions of the symbiocene. Mia Scarpa’s paintings showcase recollections of childhood joy and characters, and Becca Mann, working on entirely black surfaces, pulls animal figures forth from dark depths. Jessica Williams’ work features a faceless blonde woman at a bar, capturing an everyday moment, while Veronica Fernandez’s paintings portray intimate moments, reanimating fading memories. And finally, Gwen Hollingsworth paints relationships between real and imagined spaces, a murky perception of worlds not too far off.

The art gallery is a family-owned venture by artist [Greg Ito](https://www.instagram.com/gregitooo/?hl=en), [Stefano di Paola](https://instagram.com/stefanodpaola), and owner and director [Karen Galloway](https://www.instagram.com/karengalloway/?hl=en), who host exhibitions and various projects at its Los Angeles location. Their opening reception held last Sunday consisted of family and friends gathering in the walls of Sow & Tailor to celebrate and admire the work around them created by seven amazing artists and ended with food and drinks outside by [Mastica.](https://instagram.com/masticacalifornia)
