In looking forward to what 2021 could bring, coming changing of tides, the possible recovery, and the prospect of a better and healthier world, _Flaunt_ considered what we might be wishing for. Better health? To see our loved ones? To party?
_Flaunt_ asked several artists what is on their wishlists for the year to come.
The 21-year-old artist Bellaire has broken onto the scene with his flourish of brightness. Breaking out with 2017’s “Paris City Jazz,” he provides a light for us all.
_"First of all, as all of us I think, I’m wishing for a world where the covid doesn’t exist anymore. Not being able to party and play music for people this year was so tough to me!_
_Then, I’d dream of a world without sexism, without racism and all discriminations against minorities. I, of course dream of a world without all these corrupted politicians._
_I wish for myself to be able to create more and more music with people I love, more collaborations and to find the sound I’m trying to reach for years now. In 2021, I want to spread even more joy and bring unity to people!”_
The French-Nigerian singer-songwriter TÖME’s sophomore album BT4W (Bigger Than Four Walls) released last year, propelling her artistic vision forward and further into public view. Having toured with Burna Boy and Wizkid and appearing at SXSW, TÖME proves she’s looking to the future.

The Nigerian artist Reekado Banks returned last November with his first project in four years. The EP _Off the Record_ featured Wizkid, Mr Easi, Tiwa Savage, Harmonize, and Kida Kudz follows his debut album _SPOTLIGHT_ which reached the Top 10 in Billboard’s World Albums Chart. The 26-year-old paves the way for afrobeats, and there’s no sign of him stopping.

Recently releasing “Wolf” featuring vocals from LA cool girl DeathbyRomy, DJ Politik has become a mainstay on the club circuit. Holding residencies in Las Vegas, Miami, New York, Chicago, Atlantic City and Los Angeles, he’s crafted an admired sound and performance. From playing clubs in Los Angeles while he was still in high school to sharing stages with Travis Scott and Drake, DJ Politik knows a thing or two about pushing forward.

Formed two years ago after a lost weekend at Pikes, KUU’ Grammy-award winning producers Alex Metric, Riton and Zimbabwean-American singer, songwriter Shungudzo, have found the effort to be organic. In July of last year, they launched _How Could I Ever_ and have since recorded six singles and a series of inspired edits to accompany the songs, bridging pop music and rave culture. KUU brings listeners to a place of optimism and joy.

With roots in Tel Aviv but now based in Berlin where he runs his Disco Halal imprint, Moscoman has bridged the gap between the two cities. Moscoman combines acid, house, dark disco & synth, all seen on his 2016 debut album _A Shot In The Light_. His sophomore album _Time Slips Away_ features Teleman’s Tom Sanders, British-Indian singer songwriter Niki Kini, 80s inspired duo Wooze, Vanity Fairy and Nuphar. Moscoman’s ethos is one of collectivity.

The Dutch electronic production duo Tunnelvisions, known for their vibrant song “Guava” from their 2017 album _Midnight Voyage_ bring their own slow grooving psych house style. Just last year, they released their EP _Picture: Tunnelvisions_ via Diynamic Music. Keep your sights set on them!
_“We’re hoping to see crowds and fans again in 2021. Seeing everybody smile and dance to our music is the reason why we do what we do.”_
L Devine took on 2020, no matter the obstacles in her way. Both of her singles “Boring People” and “Don’t Say It” were named Annie Mac’s Hottest Records and has garnered praise from numerous publications. Here’s to seeing what 2021 has in store for her!
“_I’m wishing for it to be safe to go to a proper gig again as I miss live music so much – performing and watching. A big hometown gig with all my family and everyone I know there would be unreal right now!! I think everyone deserves an escape after we get through all this and I think gigs and festivals are the some of the best times we feel free.”_
Known for his work from Polo & Pan, Polocorp draws from the years of touring and his experience traveling. The musician combines local sounds with his electronic fingerprint, bringing fans together from all over the world.
