In more ways than one, [ZZ Ward](https://www.instagram.com/zzward/?hl=en)’s latest music video tackles the restraints and restrictions placed on women in their daily lives — whether it’s in the workforce, capitalism, and even motherhood (yes, _motherhood_!). The stunning visual shows the singer-songwriter against stop-motion images in a variety of settings, even giving a nod to the current pandemic by showcasing women wearing masks within an office setting.
After seeing man after man getting a promotion, ZZ Ward takes matters into her own hands and literally becomes a “Giant,” stomping across the city and making things right from targeting capitalism and climate change to protecting protesters against violent acts. Highlighting women of color, LGBTQ+ groups, and other minorities, the video represents the good that’s come from 2020: a great deal of needed change in America and around the world. By the end of the video, ZZ Ward creates her type of utopia where _everyone_ is celebrated and championed.
ZZ Ward’s ability to put herself in an ‘eagle eye’ position, overlooking the world and all the troubles that plague it, is personal to her. The video highlights the importance in keeping the planet and the people in it safe. Stay till the end of the video where she announces a plot twist!
