AHNU has a history of birthing fashionably functional shoe staples like UGG and HOKA. This time, they’re breaking new ground, convening at the intersection of classy footwear and comfortable sports shoes. The Sequence 1 was released in March and featured sleek layers of PEBA foam with a forked carbon fiber plate that adds springiness to each step. Also featured is geometry-based technology to ensure well-cushioned support. The concept has been updated in this new design which features a leather top for added sophistication. The textile appears in a flexible and supple form, wrapping around the foot seamlessly and slipper-like, allowing for the movement of everyday life without compromising the maturity leather brings to an outfit. The shoe includes an SCF TPU midsole that provides high-rebound material, most commonly used in marathon running shoes. The tongue is also lightly padded to complement the webbing lace-keeper.
