Some entrepreneurs are still able to grow their ventures without turning to investors in the early stages. One great example of this is the celebrated serial entrepreneur and investor, Alex Hormozi. Without taking on outside capital, Alex Hormozi successfully scaled and exited seven companies. He now shares his insights on building a nine-figure company without raising capital.

Alex Hormozi is an entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist.

Alex utilizes his extensive experience and skills in customer acquisition and monetization to assist other entrepreneurs and grow his empire.

According to Alex, the key to growing a profitable business without raising capital is bootstrapping. He explains that while it may be challenging, using only existing resources will help you build a stronger foundation, and you will be in a better position in the long run.

This is what Alex did. He started his first brick-and-mortar business in 2013, after previously working as a management consultant.

After earning his degree in Human & Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University, Alex began working for a boutique strategy firm. He worked there for two years before leaving to start his first brick-and-mortar company, which he successfully scaled to six locations within three years. Alex then sold his locations and used the proceeds to transition to a turnaround business.

Alex Hormozi has turned around over 32 brick-and-mortar businesses using the same model that made his own locations successful. He also founded and scaled three more companies. After the success of his brick-and-mortar business, Alex packaged his process into a licensing model that scaled to over 4000 locations in four years. He then expanded into software, e-commerce, and service industries.

Alex invested in building a strong brand and transitioned from CEO to owner/shareholder in these companies. At the same time, he started Acquisition.com as a way to invest his own wealth, both monetary and intellectual capital, into other businesses.

Acquisition.com is based on the Alex Hormozi investment thesis, which focuses on asset-light, high cash flow, sales-focused service and digital products businesses with a "character first" approach to investing. He shares his insights and valuable business tips through Acquisition.com and his social media platforms and supports entrepreneurs in starting and growing their ventures.

Alex advises anyone looking to start a business to invest in partners they can trust. "A partner is one of the most valuable assets, and the partner you choose can either make or break the business," he says.
