The original Alexander McQueen logo, conceived by Lee McQueen over thirty years ago, is being reimagined as the brand embarks upon a new era under the creative direction of Irish designer Seàn McGirr. As McGirr approaches his first collection with the brand, he looks to the past for inspiration.
McGirr's campaign glimpses into the upcoming collection which will debut at Paris Fashion Week. The campaign, shot by Tommy Malekoff and directed by Edward Quarmby, epitomizes the essence of McQueen by featuring house icons, Debra Shaw and Frankie Rayder. Amid an ethereal ancient pine forest, Debra and Frankie wear chrome skull masks, an archetypal motif of the house to celebrate its history.
