On November 26th the LA-based streetwear brand held their 10th Annual Sadie Hawkins dance at the historic Hollywood Roosevelt. But the event is not your high school’s winter formal. From sets by Mathieu, Giselle Peppers, Honey, Kitty Cash, and more, to an exclusive VIP lounge hosted by Nike, the dance is far from the balloons and streamers of a gym auditorium. It’s LA nightlife at its classiest.

Over the past ten years, the dance has gained a reputation among the city’s creative scene. LA’s finest flood the dance floor, including Amanda Demme, YG, Nadia Lee Cohen, Dylan Minnette, among others. Presented by Estrella, the event featured lobby and ballroom bars, along with a wedding chapel activation where guests could tie the knot under the tagline, "Born X Raised Marriages Last Forever.” Who says wedding season is over?

Created in 2013 by co-founders Spanto and 2tone, Born X Raised is all about celebrating the legacy of Los Angeles. With their annual Sadie Hawkins formal, the brand continues this mission. Preserving the city's lively culture one party at a time.
