Amid the chaos that is New York Fashion Week, Boucheron celebrated the opening of its first New York City boutique with a cocktail party at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. The party unveiled a multi-day installation, titled “From Paris to New York: A Cutting-Edge Journey Since 1858,” showcasing the Maison’s 166-year history in luxury jewelry and watches.

Inside the museum—reimaged as a gallery of past and present Boucheron pieces—guests strolled by glittering displays: the butterfly hairpiece worn as a brooch by Elizabeth Taylor, an innovative ring encoded with sound data and a cascading diamond necklace comprised of 1,816 gemstones. Outside, guests mingled in the garden space and sipped sparkling rosé, while enjoying a special performance by artist Leon Bridges.

The party was attended by celebrities Gwyneth Paltrow, Colman Domingo, Hailee Steinfeld, Cole Sprouse and Ari Fournier, each dressed in a custom styling of Boucheron pieces. Brand ambassadors MINA and Alexa Chung, as well as the face of the Maison Anja Rubik, were also in attendance. An intimate enclave from the commotion of New York Fashion Week, the celebration welcomed the French Maison to America.
