Celine introduced their Men’s Winter 2023 show in Paris on Feb. 10, a show exploring the submergence of 2000’s electro-clash and electronic rock scenes that are being awoken by today's youth. Suicice, the New-York based proto-punk, electronic band formed in the 70’s created an original soundtrack for the show, which is fitting for Hedi Slimane’s theme of rock-n-roll and allows for the creative director to pay homage to the very band that inspired the movement this collection celebrates. 

Tight black leather Celine pants were a staple of the show, paired with a “double leather” biker and racer jackets bedazzled with rhinestones and studs. This collection features oversized made from cashmere and English tweed, while suit pants are generously trimmed and flared. Large leopard and tiger print coats are also made from cashmere, while embroideries are handmade in Parisian ateliers. 

Models walked at Le Palace, originally a 17th century dancehall turned nightclub that is very dear to Slimane, having spent many evenings in his late teens at the venue. Attendees included Jane Birkin, Jack White, Delphine Arnault, Wiz Khalifa, and more.
