Circle The Earth has shared their latest single, ‘Numb,’ and announced that singer Aviva Scott will serve as the band’s official frontwoman. 

Based in Los Angeles, Circle The Earth is a quintet whose members hail from three continents and four countries - bringing a wealth of culture and musical experience to the band. Circle The Earth eschews borders both in terms of their members and terms of their genre. At the same time, they might occasionally be boxed in as a ‘rock group,’ the five-piece breaks beyond the rigid confines of this genre, with their music incorporating everything from commercial pop to melodic hard rock. 

Explaining the secret beyond their absorbing music, founder Michael McBay said: “It’s simple for us. We aim to create beautiful, powerful rock music with integrity and an underlying positive message. Our band consists of people from all different places. We’re trying to show the world what it can be like when various cultures cooperate to achieve a positive goal. Musically and personally, we all look out for and take care of each other.”

The band has steadily grown in popularity since it first emerged on the music scene in 2021. Interestingly, its fanbase stretches worldwide, with its music traveling globally thanks to word-of-mouth, viral fame, and the beauty of online streaming. But Circle The Earth has also proven immensely popular in its adopted home of LA, where it regularly plays captivating live shows for its fans. 

Aviva Scott’s coronation as lead singer of Circle The Earth marks probably the band’s savviest move to date. Michael McBay confirmed as much to fans: “What a gift from God Aviva has been. She’s a young, fresh, and solid performer. She has brought the band to the level it should have been now.”

What makes Aviva so brilliant is that she is an irrepressibly good singer whose heart-on-sleeve vocals feel like they’re lighting the spark in the tinder wood created by the band’s lyrics. 

Nowhere is this more apparent than on Circle The Earth's newest release. Written by Adrian Jones and produced by Erik Ron (Staind, Godsmack, Bush), ‘Numb’ is a kick-the-doors-down rock song fueled by urgency, searing guitar rips, and cascading cymbals. But it’s also a song where Aviva is given the whole, appropriate space to shine. With lyrics inspired by a toxic relationship, Aviva takes us into the rollercoaster ride that comes with letting your addictions poison your soul - even as they make you numb.
