Last night, stalwarts of sophistication and cool, Dom Pérignon, toasted their latest collaboration with avant-garde pop hero Lady Gaga at the inimitable Sheats-Goldstein House, as the twinkling city, fanned out below, nodded politely in reply. Following a stunning culinary experience by Chef Jordan Kahn, and a piano performance by Alex Smith, Gaga AKA Mother Monster sneaked onto the DJ decks alongside DJ Hana and left the City of Stars satisfied and stupefied… with a slice of Rosé Vintage 2008 Lady Gaga Limited Edition in hand, of course.
Vincent Chaperon, Dom Pérignon’s Chef de Cave, welcomed names like Anderson Paak, Maurizio Cattelan, Billy Porter, and Alexandra Daddario to Kahn’s dining experience, before the venerable James Goldstein welcomed guests onto the dance floor (following his attendance at the Clippers vs Lakers NBA season opener, naturally). Indeed, welcome is how one felt at this this magical moment, where the spirit of this limited edition vintage—that of balmy juxtaposition and duality—was witnessed, embraced, and lovingly put to bed.
