Following a four-year, $40 million renovation, Gansevoort Meatpacking NYC debuts its transformation in timing with its 20th anniversary. The renovation, which includes a refurbishment of the hotel’s rooftop space and guest rooms, as well as the addition of multiple new spaces, reimagines the hotel in its entirety: elevating in style while maintaining its character.

“As the Meatpacking District has evolved over the years, our hotel has elevated its presence from an iconic nightlife destination to a refined, luxurious property,” shares Founder and President of Gansevoort Hotel Group, Michael Achenbaum. “Over the years we have continued to reimagine our hotel spaces to cater to what our clientele is looking for.”

At the forefront of the hotel’s new, elevated identity is the Rooftop Loft: an indoor-outdoor cocktail lounge inspired by the Italian coast. Sliding walls and a retractable roof allow guests to drift in and out of the courtyard-inspired space, past the pool deck to a lush, wraparound terrace. Nearby, the dining room—decorated with pink velvet banquettes and a lattice plant wall—is readily adaptable: ideal for both a daytime lunch and a dimly lit dinner.

Gansevoort also debuts Seven24 Collective, a private membership club aimed at the hotel’s globally-minded clientele. Unveiled in January of 2024, Seven24 is a gathering place for both morning meetings and evening cocktails, offering exclusive access to hotel spaces including a members-only coworking space, a subterranean bowling and karaoke cocktail lounge and a fitness center with health programming by renowned Medical Director Dr. Jane K. Kim. Members are also invited to enjoy the European-inspired lobby café—Coffee + Cocktails—helmed by Chef Sebastien Chaoui.

“Seven24 Collective is more than just a club,” shares Co-Founder at Seven24 Collective, Sean Largotta. “It’s a vibrant community where leaders from diverse backgrounds come together to connect, create and unwind in a thoughtfully designed space.”

It’s something of an urban chameleon, the Gansevoort; truly reflective of the ever-changing urban environment around it. Dually a refuge from the city and an enclave of excitement, the hotel offers something for every guest.
