In collaboration with H. Lorenzo Mens, grounds is exhibiting a triumph of culture and footwear through its debut in Los Angeles. With notions of an innovative universe amidst traces of Japanese tradition, a pop-up event will reside on Sunset Boulevard from December 8th - 26th.
A thirteen-foot creature dressed in grounds footwear - a monumental art illustration of a concept that humanity has not yet reached its ultimate form - will be on display at the debut. The phenomenon mirrors the nucleus of grounds shoes, promising an eternal connection between gravity and the earth, representing a transcendence beyond existing limits.
“H. Lorenzo is known for its pioneering spirit, and curated sought-after international brand mix, and we are very excited to have this opportunity to introduce grounds to the Los Angeles community. grounds’ experimental and elevated aesthetic brings a new unexpected addition to the streets of LA,” Mikio Sakabe, creative director of grounds shares.
An array of wardrobe pieces will be presented at the holiday pop-up; with features on MOOPIE and JEWELRY; and limited-edition designs MOOPIE COUPE, MOOPIE MARY JANE, and MOOPIE NAZCA sold exclusively at H. Lorenzo Mens within the U.S.
