Holly Gorski is the talk of the town these days. This talented young accredited actor, singer, and JUNO nominated artist has captured the attention of the entertainment industry with her impressive range of roles, vibrant personality and comedic flair. From voicing "Julia Goodway'' on the Emmy-winning series Paw Patrol (Nickelodeon) to landing the role of iconic PEANUTS gang member "Marcie" in five critically acclaimed Peanuts movies and two TV series (Apple TV+), the world is excited to see what Holly does next.
Starting her acting journey at the tender age of four, Holly's passion for entertaining and performing in front of a live audience, was apparent when she brought down the house as a pirate in her first musical theater performance. Soon after, she was discovered through her dance school, where she trained competitively for six years. Holly's big break came when she landed the recurring voice role of “Julia Goodway” in the highly awarded children's animation Paw Patrol.
Fast forward to today, Holly's most recent success is voicing “Marcie” in the latest five Peanuts movies and two TV shows, all exclusively on Apple TV+. Marcie came to life thanks to Holly's innate talent and her distinctive, subtly raspy voice, which effortlessly conveyed Marcie’s dry, gentle, and delightfully humorous personality with genuine authenticity and deep comprehension.
Executive produced by Craig Schulz, the son of the late Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz, Holly's work in these productions has put her on the international map. The 70th Anniversary Documentary, Who Are You, Charlie Brown? is a star-studded film about PEANUTS and its creator, Charles M. Schulz. Produced by Ron Howard and Brian Grazer's Imagine Entertainment and WildBrain, Who Are You, Charlie Brown? recently saw Apple TV win at the first-annual Children's & Family Emmy Awards for Outstanding Non-Fiction Program in Dec 2022.
Holly is honored to share the cast list with her idols Drew Barrymore, Noah Schnapp, and more, with the documentary which is narrated by Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o. Holly's knack for voice work, understanding pitch, tone, and timing allowed her to fully immerse herself in the role of "Marcie" and deliver a believable authentic character, true to Marcie's characteristics. Holly had earlier voiced "Marcie" on two PEANUTS TV Series, Snoopy In Space and The Snoopy Show. She cleverly brought "Marcie" to life with her natural raspy dry undertone and genuine flair, adding to the authenticity of the latest Peanuts productions.
Another highlight in Holly’s career can be enjoyed on the TV series Super Mighty Makers (TVO Kids), as lead host Super Mighty Maker Holly. This educational live-action series shows Holly’s comedic improv skills along with bringing the script to life, while helping real kids spread kindness through crafts made on the show for their loved ones in need. Holly's natural love of crafting as a real-life hobby, spunky personality, compassion, and gift of the gab earned her the lead host role as Super Mighty Maker Holly. The show cleverly brought crafting and kindness together with guest crafters that Holly assisted while layering the heavy script with her own personal improv and natural comedic flair. The show has been running since 2018 and was nominated for a Canadian Screen Awards for Best Children’s or Youth Non-Fiction Program or Series.
Holly's talents extend beyond acting, as she is also a gifted singer. As the youngest talent on America's Got Talent season 14, she made it to the quarter-finals with her girl group, GFORCE, now a trio called GEN:ZED. Holly and her girl group performed their hit original song "Break the Bank" live in front of 3,000+ guests, which earned them four yeses from judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Julianne Hough, and Gabrielle Union. From there, they had to come up with another original song and hip hop dance routine to impress the judges and guest celebrity judge Dwyane Wade at Judge Cuts.
Their clever, original song called "Simon Says" was loved by Simon, and impressed celebrity judge, Dwyane Wade, along with judges Gabrielle and Julianne. They moved on to the quarter-finals with another well-thought-out original, "Its GFORCE," singing live while incorporating another entertaining dance routine. Landing on Hollywood's Dolby Theatre stage at the quarter-finals as one of the final 30 entertainment acts from the 40,000+ that had applied that season, was beyond Holly's dreams and is a journey that will always remain special to her.
Shortly after America's Got Talent, Holly and her group GFORCE released an original 6-song EP titled, It's GFORCE. With charted songs hitting #1 and #2 on iTunes, this album was JUNO nominated for Children's Album of the Year in 2020. As of 2020, she was the youngest JUNO Nominee in Canadian music history and was appointed the youngest UNICEF Ambassador, working to improve children's social and economic positions worldwide.
Holly's vast experience as a professional recording JUNO nominated artist came in handy in her acting career with the Peanuts movies, specifically in Snoopy Presents: For Auld Lang Syne, where Holly not only voices the role of “Marcie” but sings as the character too. The movie involved the Peanuts characters putting on the best New Year’s Eve party and was directed by Clay Kaytis of The Angry Birds Movie fame. Snoopy Presents: For Auld Lang Syne was nominated for Best Animated Special Production at the 49th Annie Awards. You can also enjoy Holly singing as her character Marcie in the Peanuts movie special Snoopy Presents: It's The Small Things, Charlie Brown, directed by Raymond S. Persi, the Emmy-winning director of The Simpsons.
Her journey has not been without challenges, but her determination, focus on training, and belief in herself helped her overcome them. Holly’s success in movies and TV shows like Snoopy Presents: For Auld Lang Syne and Super Mighty Makers is a testament to her dedication and an inspiring example for others to follow their dreams. With her eyes set on becoming a well known Hollywood A-list actor and singer and continuing to land big movies and TV roles, Holly's ultimate goal is to earn an Oscar. Her passion for singing and songwriting also continues, so fans should stay tuned for more exciting projects.
