The Swiss luxury watch and clock manufacturer, Jaeger-LeCoultre, has just collaborated with distinguished French perfumer, Nicolas Bonneville, to release three new signature scents as a part of their Made of Makers program. The program is made up of a series of collaborations between the luxury watch brand and artists of different disciplines with the ultimate goal of arousing new conversations between artists and creatives, and building a creative community based on a foundation of similar values.

The three new scents include The Celestial Odyssey, The Precision Pioneer, and The Timeless Stories. 

The Celestial Odyssey features the earthy, spicy aroma of heart of patchouli, followed by the warm scent of amber woods; all on top of a complex and creamy base of vanilla. The diverse aromas that come together to create this scent honor the sun, moon, and stars – three natural bodies that have served as muses for watchmakers from the beginning of time. 

Another woody and spicy scent, The Precision Pioneer serves as an olfactory representation of the watchmaking process, discerned by its warm notes of incense and one of a kind blend of varying wood scents. The aromatic journey is a callback to a watch’s journey from exiting the sweltering fire of the blacksmith’s oven, to the intricate attention it receives at the watchmaker’s bench. 

Inspired by Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Reverso watch – which was specially designed to withstand the harshness of polo matches – The Timeless Stories features undertones of wood and leather, notes of violet leaves, and the intricate scent of Orris root, creating an olfactory representation of an afternoon in the stables and horseback riding across fields of freshly trimmed grass.
