Coming off the praise of the first installment just two months ago, L.A. Intersections will be returning to The Broad Museum on March 30th. The return will feature a two-part festival style series that will celebrate organic music, literary scenes and the emergence of Los Angeles based experimentation in punk, jazz, rap, noise and the new generation of Filipinx artists.
This iteration will feature live music performances by Medusa the Gangsta Goddess, Alice Bag + Kid Congo Powers in their first live performances as a duo, as well as Kamau Daaood and A Band Of Griots featuring Dwight Trible and Anna Luisa Petrisko with guest musicians Lu Coy. The night will also have readings by 2022 Pulitzer Prize finalist Will Alexander and Jerry Stahl. There will be a posthumous slideshow of discovered photos. Jobel Medina will bring a dance performance and movement into galleries for an immersive experience. Tickets to the experience are available now.
